The JPK Sussex Project
Mrs Jill Parker MBE
Chairman, Trustee, Project Leader.

“ I commenced my working career as a State Registered Nurse, eventually specialising in Accident and Emergency Departments and Cardio Thoracic Surgery. My husband and I have two children – our son joined HM Forces and our daughter was born with a learning disability. I soon realised that our daughter did not have the same opportunities in life as our son and therefore initiated a charity to fundraise and provide services for children and support parents. A further charity was later formed – The JPK Sussex Project – to provide services for adults with a learning disability. We have just completed a multi- million project to provide meaningful training and work experience to people with a learning disability in all aspects of hospitality and also provide Supported Living Flats."
